100% botanical ingredients

Aromatherapy is a natural holistic therapy using 100% pure essential oils extracted from botanical sources - to balance and treat the body, mind and spirit.

We source the best natural and certified organic ingredients from all over the world. It is our ongoing commitment that NO harsh or synthetic ingredients are used, such as Parabens, SLS/ SLES, artificial colours / perfumes / flavours, synthetic preservatives, DEA/TEA, pesticide or herbicide residues.

Essential oils are composed of many chemical constituents (typically around 100). Essential oils with the same common name, such as Eucalyptus, Lemongrass or Wintergreen, may come from more than one species of plant. Others, such as Basil, Rosemary or Thyme, come from the same species, but they come in different 'chemotypes', which means there are significant differences in the composition from one chemotype to another. All of these factors potentially affect both quality and therapeutic effect.

Just like a fine wine, a number of factors affect the quality of an essential oil, how we determine quality of oil beyond the botanical origin of the essential oil :

  • The part of the plant used
  • The climate where the plant was grown
  • The cultivation and harvest techniques
  • The time of harvest
  • The method of oil production, and
  • The method and length of storage after production.
  • The quality of the finished product may be compromised if any one of these factors is not considered carefully for that particular plant.
